🖤 DYING TO KNOW EXPO — WHAT A DAY! 🐦‍⬛

Saturday was a very awesome day for Raven Mortuary Training & Embalming.

Angelica and I had the privilege of speaking at the Dying to Know Expo about something I am very passionate about — helping people understand what happens to their loved one when they enter mortuary care.

I wanted the talk to be honest, informative and human… with a little Raven humour thrown in along the way.

There were some fantastic questions, plenty of laughs, wonderful conversations and, at the end, a very generous round of applause.

But what happened afterwards meant even more.

So many people came up to talk with us about their experiences, their questions and their own wishes for end-of-life care.

And the best thing…

The Raven preparation guide booklets were a hit.🖤

The booklet was created to help families understand the choices they have around mortuary care and to encourage people to take control of their own care— because knowing what care choices you have can make an enormous difference when the time comes.

Thank you to everyone who came along, listened, laughed, asked questions and stopped to have a chat.

Death is something we all encounter.

Talking about it shouldn't have to be frightening
